Love the conductor and pianist!
So sad that there seem to be more people on stage than in the audience. Do people on campus even know what they are missing? This is pure joy in a troubled world.
It’s an over saturation thing. When I was at IU, there was world class music played every day of the week and hardly anyone in the audience except for the bigger works. This seems to be a conducting recital, so it wouldn’t attract the attention of many people except those close to the performers. As sad as it is, it’s just how it is at a massive music school like IU. So to answer your question, no they don’t know what they are missing.

nice choral tone, great orchestra. wow you had quite a resource for your dma recital, interesting work, glad to learn it... Ill never have the forces you did. but its worth learning, hearing, and meeting Caroline Shaw, new to me. Thank you Joshua, looking forward to meeting you sometime in Prescott.
